For nearly 20 years, we have fine-tuned the design-build construction process to provide our clients with unmatched expertise. The benefits of our approach include:
Single Point of Responsibility
One of the greatest benefits to design-build is the single point of responsibility approach. Traditionally, owners have contracted with the architect/engineer, received a design, then bid the project to a general contractor separately. On ACRO’s design-build construction projects, we assume responsibility for the entire design and construction of the project. You are no longer forced between two contracted entities, which significantly reduces your risk.
Schedule & Cost Reduction
Design-build allows ACRO to accelerate the delivery schedule by performing design and construction services concurrently. A shorter schedule translates into cost savings for you. This is especially true at ACRO, where design services, automation solutions and construction management are all offered in-house. Communication is effortless and ongoing with no gaps.
ACRO relies on a high level of seamless communication between all project stakeholders to ensure success. Design-build encourages collaboration between the owner and architects, engineers, automation designers, estimators and construction managers immediately upon award and for the duration of the project. To further enhance collaboration, ACRO implements Building Information Modeling (BIM), giving all team members the opportunity to view the project model and make important decisions earlier and more accurately in the process.
